3 year undergrad will hurt MBA application?

Hi, there

I did my undergrad in Australia and normally it is 3 year program to finish (1 year more for honour program). Will that hurt my chance to get to the top MBA school since I read somewhere of compulsory 4 year undergrad?

Many thanks

Dear mba_2010,

In order to meet the requirements for admission to any US MBA program, you must have a bachelor's degree equivalent to a US bachelor's degree. There might be MBA programs in the EU or Asia that are more flexible on this requirement, but that would be on a school-by-school basis. If you are not sure if your degree is equivalent, then I would encourage you to get an evaluation from a credentialing service. Some of the most used include World Evaluation Services and Global Credential Evaluators.

Regards,
Lisa
