3 Jars question

by desiguy » Sun Feb 19, 2012 2:54 pm
There are 3 jars. one Jar has all red balls, Another has all white balls, and Third Jar has red and white balls mixed. Labels are incorrect on Jars.

Q - Can you identify which Jar has which colour balls. (Number of balls are infinite in the jars so removing all of them will not help)

Draw one ball from each jar. Possible draws: R,R,W or W,W,R. Leave the odd color jar aside.
Draw another ball from two jars which showed similar colors in the first draw until the colors are different. When the colors are different leave the jar which didn't consistently showed the same color aside. This will be the jar with mixed colors.
