I just want to get some opinions here. After 4 long months of study, I just got done taking the GMAT with a 670 (Q46,V36), which is actually higher than what I was expecting.
starting at 490, coming to 670.. is it even statistically posible for me to score a 700+?
Here is my test scores history:
May 2012 GMATprep CAT1 490 *took it cold, with no study just to asses my level
Jun-24-2012 MGMAT CAT1 520 (Q28,V34) *this was after a week, where i completed the MGMAT sentence correction book.
Jul-08-2012 MGMAT CAT2 530 (Q25,V37) *a week later, where I completed A quant MGMAT book; i don't remember which one
Jul-22-2012 MGMAT CAT3 630 (Q42,V34) *During this week I completed another quant book from MGMAT
Jul-22-2012 MGMAT CAT4 590 (Q40,V32)
Sep-01-2012 MGMAT CAT5 570 (Q35,V32) *big set back, i felt that i was getting a better hold of quant questions, but because of it i spent more time per question and ran out of time with 7 unanswered question
Sep-03-2012 MGMAT CAT6 640 (Q43,V34) * took two days later, paying attention to the clock just to reassure myself that I was able to cross 600 benchmark
Sep-09-2012 GMATprep CAT1 590 (Q44,V28) * on a different computer than the one from my first try.
Sep-16-2012 GMATprep CAT2 610 (Q38,V35) *started to study other materials other than MGMAT, and started to get frustrated with this plateu
Sep-19-2012 GMATprep CAT1.2 650 (Q44,V36) *kept studying harder the OG questions and keeping track of my error, this score is inflated because i saw a couple repeated questions
Sep-24-2012 GMATprep CAT2.2 640 (Q44,V35) *kept with the OG questions and error log, plus I started reading specific answers by the experts in this forum; I picked up a couple tricks

Before the test I felt I could score around 650 since I started to pick on the shortcuts and keep my pace; although, I actually ran out of time on the last question as I was clicking the in the answer choices,
For the verbal, I felt like the questions were harder than what I was used to. I had to rely on my hear quite a bit to help me various times between two sentences.
Finally got my official score 670, 20 pt higher than my best diagnostic test.
Now the question is: Should I give it a second attempt? will I be able to break the 700 wall? I've come a long way from 490... but do I have more in me? was the 670 a lucky score?
what do you guys think?
