2^[(4 - 1)²] = 2^[3²] = 2^9

2^[3 - 2] = 2^1 = 2

Hence, the given expression = (2^9)/2 = 2^8

The correct answer is A.

The important point in this problem is that stacked exponents are applied from the top down.

That's why 2^3^2 = 2^(3^2)=2^9
not 2^3^2 = (2^3)^2 = 2^6
