Hello,

I plan to register for the big day on 01/02/2012 ... 40 hard study days are remaining but I m working on the GMAT for a week already ... time to rush :)

I want to apply for B School in order to a good quality master degree.

I m not native English speaker and I don't have a real quantitative background. Consequently, I m not gonna wast a CAT for have the confirmation I need to work hard on each topic :)

I m working hand in hands with the MGMAT series and the 3 OG books, I hope it s gonna be enough material.
I m working around 40 hours per week on my

Let's see what will happen. Of course all comments are welcome!

Here is my 50 days study plan:

-1 - 7:
Critical Reasoning + exercices in the OG review

-8 - 14:
Number Properties
Fractions, Decimals & Percents
Equation, Inequalities and VIC's
+ exercices in the OG review

-15 - 21:
Word Translations
Geometry
+ exercices in the OG review
CAT 1 on day 19
OG Quantitative
OG Verbal Critical Reasoning
OG Review

-22 - 28:
CAT 2 on day 22
Reading Comprehension
Sentence Correction
+ exercices in the OG review
CAT 3 on day 28

-29 - 35:
3 OG
CAT 4 on day 35

-36 - 42:
AWA + IR
3 OG
CAT 5 on day 42

-43 - 50:
3 OG
CAT 6 on day 43
CAT GMAT on day 45
CAT GMAT on day 48

I m thinking if this is the right plan and strategy.
Actually, don t know if I should work on the Integrative Reasoning earlier.

To sum up:
-I m only working on the OG review while integrating the concepts and strategy with the MGMAT guides.
-I m studying the AWA + IR part 2 weeks before the test.
-I have planed 6 MGMAT CAT tests only after mastering the quantitative part and I keep the GMAT prep test for the end of the marathon.

Thanks ;)

Try to revise topics multiple times..especially topics like Geometry or Sentence correction (needs multiple revisions in my opinion)..I would also recommend a dedicated time allotment to DS, as most struggle with this aspect of quant.

I would divide the preparation a bit differently. First, try to learn the lessons during the first 4 weeks and then do tests and work with the OG testing your knowledge (one test in 2-3 days and the OG during the remaining time). Don't focus on timing during the period when you are learning the GMAT philosophy. Rather make sure you learn the methods and techniques you should be using with each question type. Only then it makes sense to do tests.
