Three food items - Chicken, Beef and Fish are present in the ratio 7:5:2. More than 5 fishes are present. Total how many food items are present?

1)Beef less than 30
2)Total Chicken and Fish are less than 35

Here, the total food items should be amultiple of 14 - 42, 56, 70... (note that for fish >5, you need at least a total of 42 food items.

Stmn1: beef could be a multiple of 5. Total can not be determined. Total can be 42 ( 21, 15, 6) or 56 ( 28, 20, 8) or 70 (35, 25, 10 ). NOT Sufficient.

Stmnt 2: SUFFICIENT because for a total food items of 42 (21, 15, 6) only - this condition is satisfied.

[when total is 56, chicken + fish = 28+8 = 36]

So, IMO B.
