Is there a way i should go ahead with?

I am looking for a proper way to approach this. Dont want to make any mistakes in it!

The plan will work out depending on your target score. If you are planning for a 700 then its difficult in 18 days. If its a 650 then a Q48/49 and V30/28 will do. Its quite easy to reach 49 if you are good in inequalities, co ordinate geometry, statistics, rate problems and set theory. 48 is sure if you crack inequalities alone with moderate performance in other topics.

If you are consistently getting less than 4 mistakes in RC in GMATPrep mocks then work on SC and CR for those 18 days to reach 30+, if not then watch Ron's videos in MGMAT forum for RCs and work on 2/3 RCs daily for those 18 days and one other section which you have more chances for improvement. Use GMATPrep tests to evaluate yourself. Other test prep mocks are a bit unreliable for verbal part.

Anything +650 is my aim. What books would u suggest i should go through ?

Quants - i haven't used anything other than MGMAT books . They are quite good. MGMAT Books and mock tests questions are enough. Review them a lot.

SC - MGMAT SC. Aristotle SC is also good.

CR - The more you practice on this you will worsen in it. I have experienced it personally . I am not a big fan of powerscore CR though i used it initially. You can use it to an extent till you are able to identify the question types and how to approach each question type. Also checkout for Ron's video on CRs as well if you have time.

RC - RC99 is good for practice. See Ron's videos on main ideas and inference questions, it will help you a lot. Practice with RC99 - its more GMAT oriented with 3/4 questions per passage. Explanations are good in RC99. Search for OG10 in the net - you can use them as well for practice but the no of questions will be more for each passage.

Make sure you get atleast 700 in GMATPrep tests as you are repeating them. Maximize quants as its easier in a short time. But improving verbal is quite time consuming. If you haven't booked the exam wait till you score in mock tests and then go for it.

I dont think i will give GMATprep again. I will give Kaplan, Veritas etc...
