Hi,
The answer is D) but I dont understand why "although" comes in betwee the sentence where such connection dose not seem necessary .... Can anyone please explain?

B-No need for the word "because" in the sentence. Hence eliminate
C-However, sets the tone for a contradictory element to follow. In this case, we are continuing and elaborating on the first part. Hence wrong
D-Although sets the right tone for the sentence. We have to highlight here that "even though" there is a choice between different kinds of music, there are none where there is no music. Hence D

#1.) Why dont we require a because of

#2.) whats wrong in A and E .

I agree that C is wrong because however would contradict the statement. which is not required here .Hence ELIMINATE C

The key in this question was to understand the difference between the options C and D.
However and Although both of them set up a contrast in the sentence.

But However sets contrast in the non underlined portion of the sentence
Although sets contrast in the underlined portion of the sentence

Hence however is used wrongly

A very small difference but a very important one!!!

The answer choice is (D) due to the following reason

The last part of the clause ", there are no slopes without music"
It tries to infer that Skiers has to choose one music in every slope
