1000 RC Stars & Singularities Help Please

Upwards of a billion stars in our galaxy have burnt up their internal energy sources, and so can no longer produce the heat a star needs to oppose the inward force of gravity. These stars, of more than a few solar masses, evolve, in general, much more rapidly than does a star like the Sun. Moreover, it is just these more massive stars whose collapse does not halt at intermediate stages (that is, as white dwarfs or neutron stars). Instead, the collapse continues until a singularity (an infinitely dense concentration of matter) is reached.
It would be wonderful to observe a singularity and obtain direct evidence of the undoubtedly bizarre phenomena that occur near one. Unfortunately in most cases a distant observer cannot see the singularity; outgoing light rays are dragged back by gravity so forcefully that even if they could start out within a few kilometers of the singularity, they would end up in the singularity itself.
25. The author's primary purpose in the passage is to

The OA is A , but does the OA stand true vis-a-vis the 2nd para.

26. The passage suggests which of the following about the Sun?
I. The Sun could evolve to a stage of collapse that is less dense than a singularity.
II. In the Sun, the inward force of gravity is balanced by the generation of heat.
III. The Sun emits more observable light than does a white dwarf or a neutron star.
(A) I only
(B) III only
(C) I and II only
(D) II and III only
(E) I, II, and III
Why not E Is it because we are using Outside information to infer that the Sun emits more Observable Light.
But the passage mentions too that the Sun does not evolve so rapidly so Sun does not take the form of a dense singularity so the Suns gratational pull toward th Light Rays wills will be less powerful than the pull of a White Dwarf.

25 is a main point question, just read the first para in entirity and the body paragraphs' 1st line(topic sentence) as they call it. You should be able to pin-point the answer as A.
as for your question,you do not need to read the complete 2nd para

If you have 2*(1.5 )hours to hone ur RC skills.

b)predict what should be the main point
c)only then look at the answer choice(do not obscure ur mind,by looking at answer choices first)
d)compare the prediction with the choices and then choose.

if you look at choice E 1,2&3
There is no explicit mention of how much light a neutron star/white dwarf shall emit.
Infact, we cannot even infer this either.
Even if there is more or less gravitational pull among the 3 star types
a)Alive SUN
b)white dwarf
c)neutron star
we do not know how much light/intensity of light is being emitted by each of them...

I cant say RC is my achilles' heel because i am bad at Total Verbal but RC is something that i cant find a definite step by step guide for .
