I m confused between 'A' and 'B'..
It could not be anything else as all other choices violate parallelism.
Why it can't be 'B'??

A - "demonstrating" incorrectly modifies "standing". hence incorrect.
B - same as A.
C - second half of the sentence (after semicolon) wont be able to stand on its own. hence incorrect.
D - "sound design and maintenance" of what? not clear. hence incorrect.
hence IMO E.
Thanks!
