Hi everyone,

I have visited this forum from time to time and it has been an invaluable resource for me. I stated studying months ago and my test date is March 10, 2012.

I have used MGMAT's books and the OG12 for my practice.

I started off with a baseline of around 600-610. My last few tests have all been in the 690-720 range.

My last MGMAT I took I got 43Q 44V 710. On both GMATprep tests I got a 700 with a 48 in quant and 39-40 in verbal. My question is how can I bring my quant score up to the percentile level of my verbal level. The percent split is consistently around 70th % for quant, 90% for verbal. I want to bring my verbal up to 80th-90th %, but I am kind of stuck here. I seem to struggle more with DS and number properties.

A 90/90 split would be a fantastic score and what is keeping me from that is my quant score. Please Help. I own the MGMAT books, but I don't get much utility from them- although I here the real gmat quant is a bit easier that MGMAT, and I guess verbal is a bit harder as well.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Tough to say without seeing your style, but the best thing to do is spend time evaluating what types of problems you are getting wrong (I know you said DS, but what discipline?) and why. Are there gaps in your knowledge base? Are they calculation errors? Is it timing?

After that, practice and improve your weaknesses.
