This may sound silly but I wanted clear this doubt.
Is 1 is factor of every number?
IS 0 is mutiple of every number?

1 is factor of every number.

0- yeah it will be multiple of every number coz whenever any number is multiplied by 0 answer will be 0. Though i haven't seen question which test this. If you have a question on this pls post it. it wud b interesting

Yes, 1 is a divisor of every integer. And yes, zero is a multiple of every integer, including zero.

I'd add that zero is divisible by every integer with one important exception: you can never divide anything by zero (this is the one subtle distinction between the terms 'multiple of' and 'divisible by'- zero is a multiple of every integer, but it's not divisible by every integer, because you can't divide it by zero; mind you, you won't see a GMAT question that has a trap based on this type of technical distinction).
