A certain data set has a mean of 32.0 and a standard deviation of 4.4. Which of the following values is more than 1.5 standard deviations from the mean?
(A) 25.0
(B) 27.0
(C) 27.6
(D) 34.0
(E) 36.9

32-1.5*4.4 = 32-6.6 = 25.4
32+1.5*4.4 = 38.6

so 25 A
