0^0 = indeterminate...its universal maths and GMAT can't define anything other than that...do you have any confusion or question regarding this ...please post question in reference to this..

It tends to 1 and considered to be 1 in most cases.

Well I want to say that if you go for exact value of 0^0 ...the value is indeterminate...
Well in case of calculus we go for limiting values ....
so if the question is lim x->0 [x^0] surely it will give you a value =1
because the limiting value of x tends to 0 but it is not exactly 0. and for the values which is not exactly 0 ..u know by mathematical rules x^0 =1 for x=/=0

so it not tends but it is actually 1 for all the values x->0 but = indeterminate for x=0.

Hope it solves the problem..

Yeah Ajith you have given good example ...In that post some people have taken 0^0 = 1 ..but that is not correct..
and in the last reply "November" has replied too that "0^0 is undefined".
Well I have to do a bit of research work more.....But I am sure that 0^0 is indeterminate....
I will soon post sth new if I happened to find anything interesting...
Ajith if you find something related to this please post it..we really need to discuss it.
