I would say that if you are happy at Apple for the moment, then just hold on to your job and your hat. :) Your GMAT is good for five years, so there's no rush, and I totally agree that just "collecting" the degree for amorphous potential career options is not necessarily the most economical of decisions (these things cost money! :) ) From what you have written, I would say you have a shot at top 10 schools, but my advice would be to keep the idea on the back burner until you NEED to go because you have a specific reason or goal. You have plenty of time.
