If you're having a difficulty time in P&C, don't waste a lot of time on that. Instead , you may want to devote sufficient time to other areas in Maths.
MGMAT Quant books are fantastic and if you do them diligently you should be able to improve your Quant score.
You're spot on about Verbal. CR and RC are areas which ,unlike Quant, cannot be improved greatly in the time frame you have. However, you may not want to ignore them because bad performance on CR and RC can pull down your score.
SC is an area which can definitely be improved with practice. Go through MGMAT SC Guide and Aristotle SC Grail and I think you'll become conceptually strong enough to tackle SC questions. Having said that, practicing SC is also quite important.

Hey guys,
had my first GMATprep test today and scored a 560 (Q35, V31)
I have studied for 2 weeks now and I just focused on math.
I was surprised about my verbal score, because one year ago I got V22 in the real exam.
In contrast, my math score is still quite low and I just improved by 4 points and I studied quite hard the last two weeks.
I had also much time left after I finished math (10 minutes) & verbal (10 minutes).
So, what do you guys think? I have 16 days left for preparation and I can do up to 8 hrs per day.
Optimally, I would score a 600.
Thanks.

GMAT has a SD of 30.So,you can either score 530 or 590.Some have seen score ranges that are much wider,as much as 50 points more or less than GMATPrep score. All depends on how you cope with the pressure.Btw quant on real deal is 1 level above GMATPrep.
You should be touching 620-650 to be sure of a 600.
1 more advice: Do not study in the last 2-3 days of your prep. You will,in this way, feel refreshed when you take the test and do not forget to get a good night's sleep before the test!

If I were you,I would refrain from doing OG quant. The reason is that those questions are outdated and are not representative of GMAT of today. Instead use the btg forum [which btw has excellent questions and explanations from experts] and the 198 700+ level questions. You wouldn't like to go to the test center and be shocked at the high level of quant questions; would you?Even if you have to do OG quant, just do the last 10-20% of the questions. After that the quality drops precipitouslyHotstev wrote:Any more tips for the last two weeks? My strategy is to do all the OG math questions (+Review) over and over again until I can solve every question without any problems. Then I will do 3-4 times GMATprep to improve my timing, which is still very bad (as I mentioned, I had 10 minutes left after each section - so I was too fast)
Regarding verbal, I will just do some RC, CR and SC but not very intense. I hope I can get V25-30 in the real test, but some passages are quite hard for me to understand.
Regarding Verbal,I would say that definitely solve the OG 2-3 times besides looking up btg for some verbal questions for extra practice.

Just got back from test center.
Scored 720 (Q49 V40)
The quant was reallllly tough.I would say it was on par with MGMAT quant! Super wordy questions with crazy calculations. On one of the questions I had to scroll my screen!
Verbal was a breeze after doing CR and RC from LSATs.Too bad I didn't start doing them earlier . SC was definitely tougher than MGMAT SC.
MGMAT RC and CR are NOT representative of the real thing!
