Isn't the basic of probability from OG enough?
I'm not sure if gabriel is still kicking around here (it's been almost two years since his post above!) but I think what he meant was because GMAT probability/combinatorics is not advanced (ie, is
basic) it is a good idea to study from "school" (ie,
basic ) math textbooks. (and not that because GMAT is basic you should seek out advanced textbooks).
As for whether I would agree with that: I would, in part. I think it is a good idea to study from school math textbooks if a) you never studied those topics in the first place or b) you feel or know that you require a better understanding of certain content. However, I think it is also very important to practice using official GMAT questions, and if you want, other *trusted* (ie, major test prep company) questions.
