A, D was simple to eliminate on the basis of parallelism.... "bottling.." "and which earned"

C - I eliminated because of "and bottled" - as it didnt go well with another "and which earned..."

B: eliminated because of placement of "which" near to "1930s..." - which is not referring to 1930s obviosuly

E is the answer
