the more I study , the more I see that og question is hard beautifully and that the persons who make sc are excellent. never estimate og.

"with phase" can modify a noun. I do not discuss this use here.

"with phrase" , a prepositional phrase can modify the main clause to say about How the main clause is done.

However "with phrase" in the absolute phrase (we are forced to understand this structure, pls read about this) is used to show the CONTEXT of main clause.

gmat test 2 meaning relations by changing "providing context " relation to "how is done" relation or vice versa.

in the following from VR 2nd, D and E are wrong because "with phrase" has no comma and ,so, is not an absolute phrase. because it is not absolute phrase, it have to show how the main clause is done. This is not logic.

"with phrase" in D and E can not modify a noun or a verb and are wrong.

if there a comma before "with phrase" in D, D is logic.

experts, members pls jump to discuss. confirm, comment. Thank you.

You are right in that D and E are eliminated. However, even with a comma before the 'with' D would be incorrect. There is nothing for the following phrase to modify.

thank you expert for reply.

what I want to say is that in this question gmat test us the difference between prepositional phrase "with" and absolute phrase.

if "comma" appear before "with" in D and E, D and E are still wrong because D and E are still not absolute phrase. Thank you expert.

"with phrase" in D and E must be prepostitional phrase which can modify a noun or a verb. But there is no noun or verb modified logically in the sentence.
