Which of the following most logically completes the argument?
Aarne is an old Finnish artwork whose painter and exact date of composition are unknown. However, the painting portrays a riot thought to have taken place sometime between 1563 and 1567, and in the background of the scene stands a public building known to have been destroyed in 1565. Thus the riot depicted in the painting must have actually taken place between 1563 and 1565, assuming that

A. the public building is not depicted in any other Finnish artworks
B. the artist of Aarne intended it to be as accurate a depiction of the riot as possible
C. the painting accurately depicts the physical setting of the riot at the time it took place
D. Aarne is the first Finnish artwork whose potential dates of composition can be restricted to such a narrow range
E. Aarne was not painted by a person involved in the riot
