After taking the GMAT for the 2nd time (and getting the same score - 450
), I had a hunch that I wouldn't be accepted to the program for the fall. I was correct! I wasn't looking for any favors, I am actually relieved. I have a lot going on this coming year between work (we're moving our school - the one that I work for, not the b-school) and my personal life has had few bumps.
I'm not going to lie, it would have been nice to get started with the degree program. So now I will graduate in 2015, not 2014 like I would have liked.
My Dean put it best - "we're not going to fire you, and it's their loss anyway."
I'm wondering if there are any other higher ed folks out there that were in my boat.
Well, folks, get used to me being here for the next few months. Let the reapplying begin!
