The conditional "if" is more appropriate in this sentence because it refers to a hypothetical situation. This helps us narrow down our choices to (D) and (E). There is a big difference between "possibly leads" and "can leads". We should try and stay as close as possible to the author's intent. "Correspondingly increased sales" is awkward and unidiomatic.
