Hi krishnabbs,

If you're talking about the AWA on the GMAT, then it's worth knowing that that part of the Test is remarkably predictable. By extension, there are 'templates' that you can use to quickly craft an effective essay in the 30 minutes that you're given. As long as you're scoring at a reasonable level (at least a 4.0 out of 6.0), then most Business Schools won't think too much about your AWA score.

When I was learning to write essays, the best help for me was examples. Reading an example helped me better understand what I needed to write about.

To improve essay writing:

Read widely.
Practice regularly.
Seek feedback.
Revise and edit.
Learn from mistakes.
