Nope, you'll get a value

C (a, 1-b)
D (1-a, b)

x coordinate = (a+1-a)/2 = 1/2 = 0.5

y coordinate = (1-b+b)/2 = 1/2 = 0.5

Mid point coordinates of CD = (0.5,0.5)
