Solution:

We are given that Andrea is 24 years old and that she is 2 years older than Rory. Thus, Rory is 24 - 2 = 22 years old, and since he in turn is 3 years older than Joe, Joe is 22 - 3 = 19 years old. We see that the median age of the three people is 22.
