Since the average (arithmetic mean) of the 4 numbers n + 2, 2n - 3, 4n + 1, and 7n + 4 is 15, we have

[(n + 2) + (2n - 3) + (4n + 1) + (7n + 4)]/4 = 15

=> 14n + 4 = 60 => n = 4.

The correct answer: B
