This question isn't written in proper GMAT "format" (since it has only 4 answer choices). However, you can still draw a picture describing the action taken by the truck. After drawing said picture, you'll come to find that the truck has traveled 30 miles east AND 40 miles north. Connecting the "starting point" and the "ending point", you'll have a right triangle.
