I would say that if you are happy at Apple for the moment, then just hold on to your job and your hat. Your GMAT is good for five years, so there's no rush, and I totally agree that just "collecting" the degree for amorphous potential career options is not necessarily the most economical of decisions (these things cost money! ) From what you have written, I would say you have a shot at top 10 schools, but my advice would be to keep the idea on the back burner until you NEED to go because you have a specific reason or goal. You have plenty of time.
