Hey blue -- Good to see you again. BTW, do you happen to be a fan of a baseball team in Queens?

Anyways -- wanted to share two articles with you from my partner Stacey Koprince -- I think they'll give you a good foundation and force you to challenge yourself a bit on what/how you are going to tackle in reading comprehension.

Let me know if these help.

Thanks!

When it comes to Reading Comprehension (RC), there is not one specific approach that works best for everyone. I always recommend that students spend some time experimenting with different strategies to see which one best suits their memory, reading speed and English proficiency.

If you're interested, we have a free set of videos that cover all sorts of Reading Comprehension strategies: https://www.gmatprepnow.com/module/gmat- ... prehension

I agree with Brent that RC strategy will be different for different people, but there are a few things that are universal:

- read for STRUCTURE. Don't get bogged down in the details. Just ask yourself - do I understand this well enough to explain it to a 5th grader? Can I identify the main idea and any major shifts?

- when you're going through the answer choices, focus on proving answers WRONG, not right. Focus on the specific language of each answer choice, and avoid choices that are too extreme, or that are subtly different from the passage.
