Greece and Rome

by imskpwr » Mon Jul 09, 2012 11:42 pm
In ancient Greece and Rome, the likelihood of preservation was much higher for a text considered to have great pedagogical value than if it contained important historical information.

if it contained important historical information

if its contents were important to history

that for one that contained important historical information

one containing information important to history

whether it contained important historical information

The problem to consider is PARALLELISM.
You need to figure out which parts of the sentence are compared with the use of "THAN." Are they of the same kind?

D is incorrect because of wrong comparison.

higher for a text considered to have a great value = SOME VALUE

SOME VALUE vs Than one text(not value) ..
