Is x/m(m^2+n^2+k^2)=xm+yn+zk?

1.z/k=x/m

2.x/m=y/n

Need this explained in steps. Want to break this down and simplify or rephrase somehow. Please do not just give answer or agreement that you agree with previous answer. Whats most beneficial for eveyone is different explanations.


Trying to figure out the most efficient way to tackle this.

Can you please clarify x/m(m^2+n^2+k^2)

is [x*(m^2+n^2+k^2)]/m OR

x/[m*(m^2+n^2+k^2)]

Equation needs to be this - (x/m)(m^2+n^2+k^2)

C is the correct answer just plug the values to get it.

yes folks there is multiplication between the two

corrected stand as: (x/m)(m^2+n^2+k^2)

can we please break this one down to see what happened.

ANS C

(x/m)(m^2+n^2+k^2) - break this into 3 terms

First xm

Second x*n^2/m

Third x*k^2/m

Stmt 1 - z/k=x/m -- We can solve third term as k^2*z/k = zk

can't do anything about second term so NOT SUFF

Stmt 2 x/m=y/n -- We can solve second term as yn but can't do much about third term so NOT SUFF

Together, we find the answer as xm+yn+zk SUFF

Hope this clarifies your doubt
