Hi there,
I know this question has been asked many times and it all comes down between the need for an internship (in the case of a career change) versus going back into the job market with as little lag as possible. My specific case is that I am doing a change from ad agency to brand management. My question would be: does this call for a two-year program (and thus the internship component)? Intuitively I think yes as advertising is only a small part of the overall marketing mix. However, I wanted to validate whether this is the case and whether I would get as much out of a one-year program, AND be as marketable. Any advise and insights are appreciated as I have been accepted into two great programs (a one-year, and a two-year) and this would help me make that final decision.
