Bucket Ais 1/4th full of sand, and Bucket B, which has one half the capacity of Bucket A, is 3/8th full of sand. Jana pours the contents of Bucket B into Bucket A. Bucket A is now filled to what fraction of its capacity?

A)3/8
B)7/16
C)1/2
D)5/8
E)7/8
OA is B. I got it wrong thanks to "one half"
Let B = 8 units and A = 16 units.
Sand in B = (3/8)*8 = 3 units.
Sand in A = (1/4)*16 = 4 units.
When B is poured into A, sand in A = 3+4 = 7 units.
Sand/Capacity = 7/16.

The correct answer is B.
