Should I retake 670(Q44/V38)?

by Naome666 » Sat Aug 20, 2011 8:58 am
I just took the GMAT today, my unofficial score was 670(Q44/V38), and I am pretty sure that I got above an 4 in AWA. It is important to note that I am pusuring an degree in Master in Accounting, not an MBA. Can anyone tell me if I should retake GMAT or just concentrate on my GPA. I will be third year student at McGill University this comming fall. So I still have 2 years of college left before I get my bachelor degree major in accounting minor in finance. Then I plan to go back America to do my master. Because in Canada a accounting degree will give you a 120 credits, so I am 30 credits short of taking the CPA. Thus I must take the master in accounting program. Thanks:)

This is surprising, I scored M 50 and V 32, that is the same total that you have, but my total score is 690. I guess maths did the trick for me.

Hi

Which university are you targeting , it all depends on that....I dont think it a bad score at all...As you have mentioned you will be doing 2 + 2 Course ....

And again if you feel that you can improve and get 700 + then off course You should.

1. What schools are you targeting?
2. How much time do you have?
3. How much do you see yourself improving in that time?

Answer these and you know whether you should or not. Also look at how balanced the scores are and how important is a balanced report for schools.

All the best!!
