Schools with spring intake

Hi,

I am a 24 year old female from India.
I am working as a marketing executive in one of the leading textile firm in India.
My GMAT score is 700 & undergrad average % is 60.Extracurricular is not that great :(
I am willing to apply for MBA programs starting in Jan/April 2012 as I can't wait till Sep 2012.
I have shortlisted below schools from ft ranking.
I have below questions.

1) What do you think would be my chances of getting into these B-schools?
2)I have heard that programs with spring intake don't offer much scholarships/internships.
Is that true?I can't afford to finance my MBA without any scholarships/loans.
3)For most of the below schools the 1st/2nd deadlines are in the 1st week of June.Is one month enough to write good essays? I have not even taken TOEFL yet :(
4)Please suggest if there are any good schools with spring intake apart from the one mentioned below
INSEAD,IE,HEC,Manchester Business school,Rotterdam,Richard Ivey,Schulich,University of Rochester: Simon,Thunderbird,SP Jain,IBS
Thanks!
Prachi

Hi,

Thanks for your post. You've done a nice job compiling a list of schools with spring intake. I don't have anything to add to your list.

In regard to your question about scholarships, schools reserve money for applicants in all rounds and therefore each program likely still has funding available. However, each school has their own criteria for distributing the funds and so therefore I am unable to assess the likeliness that you would receive a scholarship at the programs on your list.

With application deadlines a few weeks away, it could be quite challenging to get your essays done and take your TOEFL in time. Are you sure you can't wait for regular round? This would give you more options and thus increase your chances for success and perhaps even for a scholarship.

Regards,

Stacey
