generalization should be followed by that, generalization of is unidiomatic. Down to D and E, E is just horribly phrased and changes the original meaning. We are not trying to say that "Significant Differences" were little, we are trying to say that there was little that was significantly different. Hence D wins

There is little that is adverb significantly is better than singificant so E and A can be ruled out.
In C it appears the generalization is 'of little that is different.
The choice to consider are B and D. Avoid the use of 'being' in GMAT. So D is the best option.

I'm not sure I understand why "that" is required after "generalization." Is it because what comes after "of/that" is not a noun, but a phrase?

E that there is little of significant differences wrong idiomatic use --> little of x (x should be singular) but differences is plural. So few should be used.

Are you sure about this idiom? Can somebody please elaborate why E is wrong?
