When positive integer k is divided by 5, the remainder is 2. When k is divided by 6, the remainder is 5. If k is less than 40, what is the remainder when k is divided by 7?

Options:1 2 3 4 5

Values of k, when its divided by 5
2,7,12,17,22,27,32,37

Values of k, when its divided by 6
5,11,17,23,29,35

17 is the common among the sets.

17 divided by 7 gives 3 as remainder

if you continue the sequence, 47 is also a common num but 47/7 does not = 3...
