You have 6 two dollar coins, 6 one dollar coins and 3 fifty cent coins. How many different sums can you pay with these coins?


A) 15
B) 50
C) 60
D) 38
E) 100

This doesn't seem like a very likely question but I would guess D. It doesn't specify if we must use atleast one of each coin or not, so the combinations become complicated but by writing a bunch out I could see we can get any integer value 1-19 inclusive = 20 and any 50cent increment from .50-19.50 = 20 so the total would be 40.
