Dear shalabh,

Round 1 for 2009 entry has passed, so I hope you mean applying in round 1 this fall for entry in 2010. I think you have a competitive profile for any school, but you need to determine which schools are the best match for you. Figure out what you are looking for in a program in terms of curriculum, resources, career opportunities and culture; then you will need to prioritize your list. Once you have that, then you can evaluate each school to determine if it is a good fit. Your posted list is full of great schools, but they are all the most competitive. I think you should probably apply to the 3-4 that are the best fit and then select a program that is outside the top 15 for a safety option. You might get into your top choice, but it is always good to have an alternative. Likewise, I think you will find some fabulous schools in the 15-30 range.

Good luck,
Lisa

Thanks Lisa for responding.
Yes , I will apply for 2010, my mistake!
I am shortlisting the schools and so far this is what I have come up with.

Stanford(dream school)
Sloan
Wharton
Hass
Ross or Tuck

Can you please point out a few 15-30 ranked schools (ones you were referring) considering my inclination for consulting or technology sector jobs after graduating?
Greatly appreciate any information!
