Recommenders - reg

by jeevish » Sun May 06, 2007 8:08 am
Dear Stacy n team,

I plan to apply for the univ for 2008 admissions. I wud hav completed abt 2 yrs & 4 months in Nov 07, when I intend to apply. I was planning to get reco from a colleague of mine, but unfortunately th person has out up her papers & will not be in the company when i want her to be a recommender. Does the rcommender necssarily be a person currently employed in the organisation? Who else can recommend?

Thanks,

jeevish

You will be best served by a rec from your direct supervisor. Barring that, if you think this colleague is the best person to write your rec, she does not necessarily need to be employed by the company. You just want to make sure she has an in depth and current perspective (which she may not have if she left a while ago).
