DS - Number Prop

by leo881 » Wed Mar 17, 2010 6:52 pm
Could someone please help with this OG problem? Thanks in advance!

A school administrator will assign each student in a group of n students to one of the m classrooms. If 3<m<13<n, is it possible to assign each of the n students to one of the m classrooms so that each classroom has the same number of students assigned to it?
(1) It is possible to assign each of the 3n students to one of m classrooms so that each classroom has the same number of students assigned to it.
(2) It is possible to assign each of the 13n students to one of m classrooms so that each classroom has the same number of students assigned to it.

this OG 12 question has been discussed in two three diff threads. Just put a search see whether it helps. I tried to get the thread where it was recently discussed but unsuccessful.
