MV < PV < 0 implies M < P < 0

(1) M < P. If V < 0, that is V is negative, then M > P, which is a contradiction. So, V > 0.
So, (1) is SUFFICIENT.

(2) M < 0. Since M is negative, so V cannot be negative because if V is negative then MV cannot be less than 0. So, V > 0.
So, (2) is SUFFICIENT.
