Nutritionists suggest that we should replace chips and sweetened soft drinks with healthier raw veggies, fruits, whole-grain biscuits and low-fat cheese.

Nutritionists suggest that we should replace X and Y with A, B, C and D.

X, Y, A, B, C and D are all plurals maintaining parallelism.

Thus A.

The verb suggest is typically followed by a verb in the subjunctive mood, as in the sentence: I suggest that you buy milk.

The same concept applies here, which brings us down to choices C and E. Choice E mentions raw veggies including fruits, which does not make sense because fruits are not veggies.

Therefore, C is correct.

A is wrong because "bossy" verbs such as "suggest" cannot go together with "should".

Suggest indicates command subjunctive and in command subjunctives should is not used.
it takes the following construction:

bossy verb+that+SUBJECT+command subjunctive.
here
bossy verb=suggest
subject=we
CS=replace.

onl C and E qualify. E incorrectly uses 'including' and as well as.
so C it is.

Hey guys,

Here is the official OE of this question:

Official Answer (OA) - C
Concepts Tested - Redundancy

A - The use of suggest and should in the same sentence is an error of redundancy.
B - Replaces is incorrect since we need replace. Also you replace one thing with another
and not for another.
D - The use of us is incorrect since the sentence needs the subject form we and not the
object form us
E - Unnecessarily wordy.

E isn't wrong because it's wordy. It's wrong because it changes the intended meaning of the sentence by using the word "including".

Guys its not about a particular prep resource , the concept given that "suggest" and "should" should not be used together is absolutely apt .

Take it logically how can we "suggest" and as well put a condition that it "should " be done ... it creates redundancy .

MGMAT SC guide also emphasizes on the same rule .

The below is the official question depicting the same usage .

The report recommended that the hospital should eliminate unneeded beds, expensive services should be consolidated, and use space in other hospitals.

(A) should eliminate unneeded beds, expensive services should be consolidated, and use space in other hospitals

(B) should eliminate unneeded beds, expensive services should be consolidated, and other hospitals' space be used

(C) should eliminate unneeded beds, expensive services should be consolidated, and to use space in other hospitals

(0) eliminate unneeded beds, consolidate expensive services, and other hospitals' space used

(E) eliminate unneeded beds, consolidate expensive services, and use space in other hospitals

Hope that helps.
