Several legitimate sources including Learning English on BBC says suggest can be used with should..

Why GMAT always have to go the direction opposite to that of the conventional...???

Well GMAT Land is an island away from the normal world ;) . Anyways to clarify your point about the link you gave , the link is specifying right usage , as it is Commonwealth English (British). Its ok to use should and subjunctive in British English but be wary GMAT scope is American English .

Until now I used to think the only difference between Brit and American English is Spelling & pronunciation.... :)... Different grammar rules for each is something new to me, considering the fact that "English" as a language came from the Brits :)
