US Business school Rankings

Hello guys,
Here's a fantastic document I came across. It's an elegant document with the stats such as Average GMAT, Average work experience, acceptance rate etc in a tabular form. Hope that you find it useful.

Ya, I agree. If you see all other free resources by Aristotle Prep are quite useful and quite neat!

Well,it's one of the top ranked business schools in Asia. However, I have heard that HKUST students don't have as good communication skills as candidates at other schools do. Most of the students speak Mandarin and don't have great command over English and that's why it becomes a kind of regional school. However, lately the student pool at the schools is becoming diverse and I have heard that they are getting quite a few applicants from candidates from the US and Europe and they even have a few candidates from the US and Europe and the number of such candidates is obviously going to increase in the coming years,enabling more diverse classroom profile which in turn will attract better employers which in turn will increase the brand value of the school
I think what is important for any candidate is to see what his priorities are and which schools can facilitate the opportunities he's interested in post-MBA.

Hi Rishi Raj,

Thanks for posting that document for your fellow applicants. Having materials that organize information clearly and easily is an essential part of a low-stress application process (i.e. not going crazy for 6-18 months). With working with my clients, I have found that there is an overwhelming amount of information--not all of which is even that helpful--and that one of the most helpful things I can do for them is help them navigate the abundance of resources (free and paid) available to them during their application process. When I was applying to business school, I had an overabundance of some information (e.g. rankings and "how to" guides) and a dearth of other information (e.g. blogs of current MBA students). That story has changed since when I was applying back in 2006, but I still appreciate seeing applicants help each other out by wading through all the junk to find the jewels.

Keep it up!

@Kaneisha

I agree with you the amount of information which is available on business schools is intimidating and with that kind of information overload, a candidate finds himself doing a lot of redundant work. So documents like these come pretty handy. Earlier if I wanted to know the stats of say McCombs or Kelloggs, I'd waste an inordinate amount of time wading through the different rankings and the websites of schools. Now all I have to do is refer this amazing document.

Anyway, just out of curiosity , I wanted to ask how did you happen to become an Entrepreneur this early ? I mean, didn't the prospect of paying loan(assuming you'd have taken one) without having a "secure" job scare you a bit ?
