=(OQ+RX)/2*OX - 1/2 *OP*OQ - 1/2 * PX* RX
=(3+4)/2*7 - 1/2 * 4*3 - 1/2 *3*4=24.5 - 6 - 6 =12. 5
The advantage is that u do not need to remember complicated formula.
