among should be used while comparing/referring to more than 2 things. Here the stmt mentions 5 nations and hence among.crak.gmat wrote:OA Is C, still not sure why so?
"Oneida... among the 5 nations... sided" sided is the verb and hence you do not need any other verb.

The problem wiht option D is : it does not hav a verb. hence it is not a complete sentence .duke wrote:I went to D. should be plural.crak.gmat wrote:Explanations please??
C does -->" sided "
There is a verb "were"...anyway, I was totally wrong. Should be C. In D, "were the only ones~" should be corrected since the subject is not a plural...Vignesh.4384 wrote:The problem wiht option D is : it does not hav a verb. hence it is not a complete sentence .duke wrote:I went to D. should be plural.crak.gmat wrote:Explanations please??

I pick C. 'the five-nation league' and 'the five-nations of the league', the latter has the clear and precise meaning. So the perspective choices are C and D. I don't like D, because of both the plural and no presence of any activity in the main clause. The common sense is 'influnced then do something', not 'influnced then be something'crak.gmat wrote:Explanations please??
