What is the ratio of a to b? a/b = ?

1) 6a+8.4b=40 Insufficient !

2) .21b=1-.15a Insufficient !

Though you use both the statements, you will not be able to answer the question, as the equations 1and 2 from conditions 1 and 2 are one and the same.

0.21b = 1-0.15a
Multiplying both sides with 40, you get 6a+8.4b=40, same as Condition 1.Hence insufficient Option E
