ok now - call vinegar concentration x% => x/100

12x%/(12+50) = 3/100 => 12x/100*(12+50) = 3/100 => {whole percents} 12x/(12+50) = 3 => 12x=3*(12+50) => x=186/12 or 15.5%
answer: 15.5% vinegar 84.5% water
