Area = Perimeter

√3/4 a^2 = 3a
√3 a = 12
a = 4√3

Option D

Area of an equilateral triangle = (s²/4)√3.
Perimeter = 3s.

Since the area = the perimeter:
(s²/4)√3 = 3s
(s/4)√3 = 3
s = 12/√3 = (12√3)/(√3*√3) = (12√3)/3 = 4√3.

The correct answer is D.
